Hello, I’m going to CANADA!
I’ll be exhibiting with a bunch of books and things, this weekend at TCAF in downtown Toronto at table 318! and the next weekend at VanCAF in Vancouver at table D10! These are excellent comics events and I hope you can make it to them!
I’m debuting this mysterious new foil-stamped print at these shows too!
I’m tabling at TCAF and VanCAF on the next two weekends!!!!! And guess what, ISLAND BOOK is DEBUTING at TCAF, a couple of days before its actual bookstore release date. I’ll have the Island Book Soundtrack and art books also available, and other books & things too. A couple of events:

i’m going to SEATTLE FOR A COMIC CONVENTION RIGHT NOW AAAAA
Hey I’m gonna at TCAF at table 283 in downtown Toronto this weekend! It’s probably my favorite convention, it’s FREE to attend, and this one’s gonna be a big one for me:
The WIZARD OF OZ ILLUSTRATED is debuting at TCAF! And probably-hopefully I’ll have a limited-edition print available to go along with it. (Kickstarter books are shipping starting this week)
A Benign Kingdom anthology zine will be there, too, that I helped put together. There are 13 artists in it and it’s gonna be beautiful and I’ll tell you more about it in the next couple of days!

VANCAF is this weekend!! vancouver!!!!
Here it is, the big fancy T-O-E drawing. Always fun and kind of weird to return to a character like this; I feel like this is the closest I’ve ever got to the picture in my head of an immortal, indifferent magic robot covered in trinkets from different cultures and centuries.
Getting some prints of this for Spring conventions (Staple, ECCC, TCAF, MoCCA, Linework [wow is it really that many]), at the very least. I liked having one big new print for shows last year, so maybe that’s a tentative plan for the future…

Hi folks & welcome to the future. Vattu’s still going strong and finally dealing with some Grish stuff I’ve been looking forward to for YEARS, and a few good exciting things are on the horizon:
The Wizard of Oz book is done and I’ve seen the final proofs and could not be happier. Topatoco is gonna handle all of the fulfillment, and then it’ll be officially debuting at TCAF in Toronto in May, one of my very favorite conventions.
Goblin Week cometh, beginning on Sunday, January 25, and ending on Saturday, January 31. This means: everybody produces as many goblin-related creative works as possible for a week, and we all make a lot of noise about it. More details soon on that blog.
Finally, I’ll be starting the Rice Boy Rerun Blog soon, pending a goal on Patreon. Thanks everyone!
